A little raw paradise on Lake Victoria
Banda Island Resort and Campsite is a hidden accommodation located in the Ssese Islands archipelago, on Uganda’s side of Lake Victoria. Peace and tranquility are the priority of the day, but for those who are feeling adventurous, there is water skiing, wake boarding and a small Laser yacht.
Getting to Banda Island
You can get to Banda in a variety of ways depending on your desired level of adventure and budget. The best value is to take one of the local boats that depart from
Kasenyi landing site near Entebbe. A “special hire” boat from Kasenyi to Banda Island will cost around Ushs 400,000/-, which is a very good price and worth considering, definitely if you are travelling with a group. Banda Island management can guide you to the best option and price for your needs.
